a little about the heart behind our projects

1. family in bali landfill community needs a home $2000

Donate to build a home for a family who lives in a landfill. These families make their living by sorting trash and live in cardboard lean-tos. Building them a home will improve their health and safety forever.

2. Children at remote school in fiji need cafeteria $6000

On a remote island in Fiji, a local school of 500 children has asked ROAM's help to build a cafeteria where a volunteer will make daily healthy, filling meals to feed the underprivileged children. These children will benefit so much from a good meal each school day!

3. elderly project in brazil or tanzania $125

Support the elderly population in Brazil and Tanzania with necessities such as new mattresses and bedding, furniture, necessary food, and clean water.

4. feminine hygiene kit + female body course $25

When you purchase this, ROAM will donate a reusable hygiene kit and provide an in person training course teaching women's bodies and menstruation. This is available in all 8 countries that ROAM serves in.

5. give a single mother a goat $50

Just $50 will buy a goat for single mother and her family in need.

6. special needs children at peru mountain school need greenhouse $500

Building and planting a green house for a special needs school in Peru will provide the school with food year-round to give these special children the nourishment they need.

7. single mother in tanzania needs home $750

Build a home for a single mother in need in a rural village in Tanzania. This will cover all the wood and supplies for a two bedroom village home made from wood, rocks, and dung plaster. ROAMers and the women in the community will build the home. Because of this, there are no labor costs.

8. playground + outdoor learning spaces for tanzania womens center $20,000

Fund playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces for our Tanzania Women's Center.

9. regulation Size soccer field for Women's Center and community $10,000

Fund a regulation Size soccer field for ROAM Humanitarian Women's Center and the surrounding community.

10. sewing business training and start-up grant $250

Give the gift of education through 6 months of sewing and tailoring training to women in need. This includes a self reliance and business class, in person training, and a business grant in the form of a personal sewing machine and supplies upon completion of the training.

Programs operate in Tanzania, Nepal, Fiji and Brazil

11. low income students need school kits $10

$10 provides one school kit for a low income student in one of our eight partner countries.

12. small business enterpreneurs need chickens $25

$25 provides ten chickens to entrepreneurs who have a chicken farming business.

13. people need vision screenings, glasses, & cataract surgeries in cambodia $1500

Fund and cover all expenses of three days of screening, glasses or cataract surgeries for thousands of people in a rural community. In collaboration with Charity Vision.

14. Give one family a water bucket and filter $10

In partnership with Water for Life, ROAM will provide one bucket with a water filter to ensure access to clean, safe drinking water-helping to reduce waterborne illnesses and improve overall health and well-being in the community.
